This policy explains what information the TicketDrop app and website (ticketdrop.co.in) collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and a securely hashed password, or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email, name and profile identifier.
- Preferences and alerts: the city, theatres, movies, dates and seating preferences you choose when creating alerts.
- Device information: a push notification token so we can send you alerts, plus basic app and device details needed to deliver them.
- Service logs: technical logs (such as request times and errors) used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To monitor showtimes and send the notifications and emails you ask for (for example alerts, account verification and password reset).
- To operate, maintain and protect the service against abuse.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help run TicketDrop, such as cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), push delivery (Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging), email delivery (Hostinger) and Google Sign-In, and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account is active. Notification and event history is automatically deleted after a limited period. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing notify@ticketdrop.co.in.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-restricted servers. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes.
Children
TicketDrop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
